Toiletries theft earns jail

A DUDLEY man has been jailed for stealing four deodorants and two razors.

Farooq Mohammed, aged 27, of Cromwell Drive, Dudley, was jailed for eight weeks by Dudley Magistrates Court, on Thursday March 13, for stealing four lynx deoderants and two gillette razors worth £14.49 from Wilkinsons.

Also on Thursday March 13: Candy Hickinbottom, aged 38, of Overfield Road, Dudley, was handed three licence penalty points, fined £100 and ordered to pay £15 compensation as well as £43 court costs for driving a vehicle they were not licensed to drive on Scotts Green Road.

The defendant was also fined £100 for driving a vehicle they were not licensed to drive on High Street.

She was also handed six licence penalty points for driving without insurance.

The defendant was also fined £100 and ordered to pay £43 court costs for driving without a valid test certificate Andrew Paul Dublin, aged 23, of Malvern Crescent, Dudley, was given a six month conditional discharge order and ordered to pay £70 court costs after providing a positive drug sample for cocaine and failing to attend an initial assessment.

Darrell Anthony Simner, aged 44, of Yew Tree Hills, Netherton, was fined £100 and ordered to pay £15 compensation for driving without due care and attention.

The defendant was also handed seven licence penalty points and fined £100 for failing to stop after a collision with another vehicle.

He was also given a 12 month community order and fined £87 for driving while disqualified.

The defendant was also disqualified from driving for a further six months for driving without insurance.

Alan David Collins, aged 62, of Lindale Crescent, Brierley Hill, was handed three licence penalty points, fined £60 and ordered to pay £500 court costs for speeding.

Parmjeet Singh Deu, aged 35, of Grove Street, Kates Hill, has been handed a 12 month community order, to include 150 hours unpaid work, for failing to provide a breath test.

The defendant was also disqualified from driving for three years and ordered to pay £172 court costs.

Paul Sean Summers, aged 35, of Wolverhampton Street, Dudley, was jailed for eight weeks, for stealing two toiletry sets worth £24 from Boots.

The defendant was also jailed for eight weeks, to run consecutively with the above for stealing a Nintendo Wii console accessory pack, worth £27.99 from Gamestation.

He was also jailed for four weeks, to run concurrently with the above, for failing to surrender to custody.

On Monday March 10: Hermi Christian Bri, aged 20, of Malvern Crescent, Dudley, was fined £50 and ordered to pay £15 compensation for driving a car he was not licensed to drive.

The defendant was also convicted of driving without insurance and was handed six licence penalty points. He was also fined £100.

Daniel Crooks, aged 27, of Stratford Close, Milking Bank, Dudley, was handed a two-year community order and ordered to pay £125 court costs for going into Pizza Junction with a meat cleaver, which had an 18 cm blade.

Patrick Anthony Ferreria, aged 29, of Winchester Rise, Dudley, was fined £65 and ordered to pay £15 compensation for driving without insurance.

Sajid Hussain, aged 29, of Occupation Street, Dudley, was disqualified for six months and also fined £500 for driving without insurance.

The defendant was also fined £200 and ordered to pay £15 compensation, for driving a car he was not licensed to drive.

He was also fined £125 for driving without a valid test certificate.

Matthew Joseph Smith, aged 31, of Gibbons Hill Road, Sedgley, was handed six licence penalty points, fined £65 and ordered to pay £15 compensation for driving without insurance.

The defendant was also fined £35 for driving a car he was not licence to drive.

Benjamin Timmins, aged 18, of Sudeley Gardens, Lower Gornal, Dudley, was disqualified from driving for 56 days, fined £100 and ordered to pay £15 compensation for speeding.

Dominic Kieron Yeates, aged 21, of Naggersfield Road, Brierley Hill, Dudley, was handed a 12 month community order and ordered to undertake 100 hours unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay £600 compensation for failing to stop after causing injury to another man.

The defendant was also handed a 12 month community order to run concurrently with the above for failing to give his personal details and failing to report the accident.

On Tuesday March 11: Attiq Ur-Rehman Khan, aged 27, of Grainger Street, Dudley, was handed three licence points and fined £45 and ordered to pay £15 compensation for driving through a red light.

Jamie Anthony Rollinson, aged 23, of Castle Mill Road, Dudley, was handed a 12 month community order to include 80 hours unpaid work.

He was also ordered to pay £100 court costs for trespassing into Dynamic Timeout youth club in Wolverhampton Street, Dudley Shane William Patrick O'Rouke, aged 20, of Adelaide Street, Brierley Hill, was handed six licence penalty points, fined £50 and ordered to pay £15 compensation as well as £50 court costs for driving without insurance.

Gina-Leigh Jade Sweeney, aged 19, of Pleasant View, Lower Gornal, Dudley, was handed an 18 month conditional discharge order and ordered to pay £135 compensation for causing £120 worth of damage to taxi windows.

The defendant was also fined £50 for failing to surrender to custody.

On Wednesday March 12: Mohammed Noor, aged 44, of Hockley Lane, Netherton, was handed a 12 month community order to include 120 hours unpaid work, for driving while disqualified on Hagley Road.

The defendant was also handed a 12 month community order to run concurrently with the above for driving while disqualified on Pedmore Road. He was also ordered £87 court costs.

He was also handed a 12 month community order to run concurrently with the above for driving while disqualified on Hockley Lane.

The defendant was also handed six licence penalty points and ordered to carry out a 12 month community order to run concurrently with the above for driving without insurance.

Simon Shaw, aged 19, of Rowan Road, Sedgley, was disqualified from driving for 14 days and fined £150 as well as being ordered to pay £15 compensation for driving without insurance.

Jamie Lee Frank Fellows, aged 18, of Broom Road, Dudley, was handed a three month suspended sentence with an 8pm until 8am curfew and ordered to pay £50 court costs for failing to comply with the requirements of a earlier suspended sentence.

Shaun Green, aged 24, of Bluebell Road, Dudley, was handed a 12 month community order to include 100 hours unpaid work for driving while disqualified.

The defendant was also handed a 12 month community order to run concurrently with the above. He was also handed six licence penalty points and ordered to pay £67 court costs for driving without insurance.

Lynne Vanes, aged 53, of Coopers Road, Gornal Wood, was handed three licence penalty points and fined £100 and ordered to pay £15 compensation for failing to give information to police.

Hargurmit Singh Bains, aged 55, of London Heights, Dudley, was fined £100 and ordered to pay £15 compensation for obstructing a police officer.

The defendant was also disqualified from driving for 12 months, fined £250 and ordered to pay £350 court costs for driving without insurance.

On Friday March 14: Janine Akalley, aged 42, of Acres Road, Brierley Hill, was handed three licence penalty points, fined £60 and ordered to pay £15 compensation for speeding.

Rene Calma, aged 33, of Park Road, Netherton, was handed six penalty licence points, fined £250 and ordered to pay £15 compensation for failing to give information to a police officer.

Susan Guise, aged 45, of Wells Road, Brierley Hill, was handed six penalty licence points, fined £250 and ordered to pay £15 compensation for failing to give information to a police officer.

James John Alfred Jefferson, aged 23, of Cricket Meadow, Upper Gornal, was ordered to pay £50 court costs as well as having 30 hours unpaid work added onto a current community order, after failing to comply with its requirements.

Scott Paul Martin, aged 20, of Chichester Avenue, Netherton, was disqualified from driving for 12 months, to be reduced by three months on successful completion of a rehabilitation course. He was also fined £100 for drink driving.

The defendant was also fined £50, ordered to pay £15 and £67 for driving without due care and attention.

Neil Meese, aged 36, of Uplands Drive, Dudley, was given a six month conditional discharge order and ordered to pay £50 costs for possessing cannabis.

Christopher Mark Sony Reckford, aged 18, of Fox Meadow Close, Sedgley, was given a six month conditional discharge order and ordered to pay £50 costs for possessing cannabis.

On Saturday March 15: Naheem Sahib Dad Khan, aged 30, of New Road, Netherton, was jailed for six weeks and disqualified from driving for 18 months, for driving while disqualified.

The defendant was also jailed for three weeks to run concurrently with the above for obstructing a police officer.

He was also jailed for five weeks to run concurrently with the above for breaching a suspended sentence.
