AN elderly pedestrian was taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Brierley Hill.
The woman was hit near the near to the junction of Wallows Road and Dudley Road on Saturday (April 27) at 1.15pm.
An ambulance attended with the woman treated at the scene for injuries not believed to be serious.
She was taken to Russells Hall Hospital.
The crash led to the no.6 and no. X10 buses being diverted.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a collision between a car and pedestrian near to the junction of Wallows Road and Dudley Road at 1.15pm, one ambulance attended the scene.
"On arrival we discovered one patient, an elderly woman, who was the pedestrian.
"She was treated for injuries not believed to be serious before being taken to Russell’s Hall Hospital."
